Lunchtime Recital: Toby Hughes & Abel Selaocoe

On Wednesday 20th March 2019, double bassist Toby Hughes (2018 CMF Artist) was joined by cellist Abel Selaocoe for a unique joint recital at St Bart’s the Less.

Presenting rarely-heard works for cello/double bass duo, Hughes and Selaocoe performed works by prolific Czech composer Zdeněk Lukáš and American bassist/composer Edgar Meyer. Individually they also performed works by Jean Françaix, Johann Sebastian, and Giovanni Sollima, his stunning Lamentatio for solo cello. For full details, please download the programme below.
