Event Details

Georg Phillipp Telemann was not only a fine composer but also a shrewd businessman. Tabea Debus explores the composer’s works from his subscription list, launched in Hamburg in 1733, works that made their way to all parts of Europe. Among the distinguished figures who received printed copies were fellow composers Michel Blavet and Handel whose works feature in Tabea’s programme. Tabea completed her Master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music and became a City Music Foundation artist in 2016.
