Formed by Australian musicians in London we are producing a concert featuring Australia’s finest musicians with full orchestra and choir to honour the brave men and women who are fighting the worst fires in Australia’s history. Our hearts are with the people of Australia and we hope that the money raised from this concert will make a tangible difference to the victims of this horrific tragedy.
Australian mezzo soprano Lotte Betts-Dean is a versatile and dynamic concert artist, whose performance experience encompasses opera, oratorio, contemporary music, art song recital/chamber music, early music and non-classical collaborations. She has been based in London since 2014 and works internationally, most often in the UK and Australia. Lotte is Associate Artist with Southbank Sinfonia, and is a member of London-based contemporary music group Ensemble x.y. Lotte is a 2020 Samling Young Artist.
Lotte is a Tait Awardee and is supported by a grant from the Estate of Andrew Loewenthal, and Eugenie White.
