CMF presents...

Events curated and promoted by City Music Foundation.

This weekend’s Mail on Sunday called them ‘subtle crowd-pleasers’ with ‘Ancient-sounding laments’ and ‘austere beauty’, but Bridie Jackson and the Arbour’s praise doesn’t end there. They’re received phenomenal reviews from leading folk magazine For Folk’s Sake: http://www.forfolkssake.com/reviews/27784/album-bridie-jackson-and-the-arbour-new-skin as well as Folk Radio:  http://www.folkradio.co.uk/2014/05/bridie-jackson-and-the-arbour-new-skin/, Fresh on the Net

This weekend, Bridie Jackson and the Arbour, will perform two sets at the Great Escape in Brighton. They are:

KOMEDIA 10th May 2014 12:30pm – 1:00pm
FESTIVAL HUB STAGE (SPIEGELPUB) 10th May 2014 8:30pm – 9:00pm

See you there, yes?

These come immediately after fantastic performances at Liverpool Sound City last week and a release of their new album New Skin, which came out on this Monday, you can buy this here, here and you can have a sneak preview here. We’ve already had some fantastic reviews from Fresh on the Net and The Metaphorical Boat, with more to follow!

If you can’t catch them in Brighton, have no fear!  They’ll be in Newcastle later this month and London on 7th June for the London Folkfest!
