The Lord Mayor’s City Busk

“We need your help to bring the City to life with music”

From the 8th to the 12th July the Lord Mayor’s Appeal 2013 is hosting an organised busk across the Square Mile to raise money for its beneficiary charities. We’re looking for talented young musicians to perform at selected venues, including Paternoster Square, Festival Gardens and Millennium Bridge, throughout the week of the 8th July to help raise funds and awareness for the City Music Foundation.

The City Music Foundation is a new charity established to support young musicians as they launch their professional careers. Through mentoring, financial support and greater performance opportunities the CMF will help young musicians pursue music as a viable and rewarding career.

All musicians will receive 10% of all money raised by them on the day and 2 x tickets to the Inaugural City Music Foundation Showcase Concert, hosted by the Lord Mayor with Master of Ceremonies, Sir Richard Stilgoe, at the new Milton Court Centre in October.
