CMF invites you to join us at the Mansion House, in the heart of the City of London, for a St Valentine’s Day evening of delectable food and discerning company, all within the most elegant venue.
After being received by host Sir Roger Gifford, the evening will begin with cocktails in the Salon, before moving to the Old Ballroom to hear Mendelssohn’s dazzling Octet played by the Gildas Quartet (CMF Artists) and the internationally-acclaimed Brodsky Quartet, who are Patrons of CMF and mentors.
There will be a sumptuous dinner in the Egyptian Hall, with a special performance by Hugh Laurie and Iain Burnside between the courses, as well as more music from other CMF Artists.
Since the event is raising money for City Music Foundation and our new home in the City – of which more will be revealed by Sir Nick Kenyon (CMF Trustee) during the evening – there will also be a short auction.
After dinner, we’ll be back in the Salon for jazz, courtesy of the Kansas Smitty’s Big Five. Of course there’ll be more drinks and dancing, if you wish!
