Lunchtime Recital: Gwenllian Llyr

On Wednesday 17th October 2018, harpist Gwenllian Llyr (2017 CMF Artist) gave the second recital of our 2018-19 Lunchtime Recital Series at St Bart’s the Less.

Gwenllian is fast gaining international recognition for her charismatic and engaging performances – in July 2013 Gwenllian was a prize-winner at the USA International Harp Competition in Bloomington, where she was highly praised for her musicianship. A proud Welsh musician, Gwenllian’s programme included works by three Welsh composers: William Mathias, Haldon Evans and Grace Williams, as well as works by Debussy and legendary French harpist, Henriette Renié.
