Tom Millar brings his celebrated Tom Millar Quartet to Barts Pathology Museum for a lunchtime performance of original tunes and jazz standards. Described as “ambitious, young, sophisticated” by Time Out London, the Tom Millar Quartet includes some of the leading lights of British jazz.

Tom Millar is a London-based pianist, composer, and bandleader. His debut album, Unnatural Events, was launched in 2017 at Pizza Express Jazz Club (Soho) and was followed by a 20-date UK tour, supported by Arts Council England. As a sideman he has played for the opening of Quincy Jones’s jazz club in Dubai and toured in the UK and Europe. He has received an Emerging Excellence award from Help Musicians UK.

After reading Music at King’s College, Cambridge, Tom studied Jazz at the Royal Academy of Music, and with Django Bates in Switzerland.

Tom joined the CMF Artist Programme in 2018.
